How do I turn on reminders (pokes)?

Brain Tickler asks to send notifications during setup. If you skipped it, open Brain Tickler, go to Settings, then Notifications, and tap Allow pokes. If notifications are off in iOS, tap the button there to open iOS Settings and turn them on. You can send yourself a test poke from the same section.

What can I do from a poke?

Each poke has Done, Snooze and Skip buttons, so you can handle it without opening the app. Long-press the notification to see a card with more detail about the tickle.

Why didn't a poke come through during Focus?

Focus modes can hold notifications back. When editing a tickle, turn on Break through Focus to send its pokes as Time Sensitive. For that to work in a Focus, open iOS Settings, then Focus, choose the Focus, and allow Brain Tickler (or allow Time Sensitive notifications). Quiet Hours in Brain Tickler's Settings also hold pokes until the morning.

How does voice work?

Tap the mic and say your tickle. Brain Tickler asks for microphone and speech recognition permission only the first time you use voice. Speech is turned into text on your iPhone and is never sent anywhere. You can change these permissions anytime in iOS Settings.

How do I restore my purchase?

Open Brain Tickler, go to Settings, and under Unlock Brain Tickler tap Restore Purchase. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple Account you used to buy. Restore Purchase is also on the unlock screen.

Does Family Sharing work?

Yes. The one-time unlock supports Family Sharing. If you've turned on purchase sharing in your Apple Family Sharing settings, family members can unlock Brain Tickler at no extra cost. If it doesn't show as unlocked, have them tap Restore Purchase in Settings.

Is my data backed up or synced?

Your tickles stay on your iPhone. Brain Tickler has no accounts and no servers that store your data.
